ESC Elections

Executive Steering Committee Seats Up for Election

The BioMaP-Consortium is holding elections to select three new Chairs to serve three-year terms on its Executive Steering Committee (ESC). The elected Chairs will serve in the following goal-oriented roles:

Voice of Membership (Member-at-Large)
One seat open

The Voice of Membership Chair will serve as a primary liaison among BioMaP-Consortium members, the Consortium Management Firm (CMF), ATI, and U.S. Government stakeholders. This Chair will help surface member concerns, improve communication channels, gather feedback, and ensure that members’ perspectives are considered in consortium planning and activities.

Regulatory, Quality, and Policy
Two seats open

The Regulatory, Quality, and Policy Chairs will support the BioMaP-Consortium by identifying and communicating relevant regulatory, quality, and policy developments affecting members. They will help plan regulatory-focused content, events, newsletters, and GMM sessions and connect members with resources or subject-matter expertise to address regulatory and quality challenges.

Candidate Nominations

Candidates were nominated during the open nomination period, held from June 30 through July 30, 2026. Each candidate was asked to address the following:

    • How their background, training, and experience would support their ability to serve in a governance role on the Executive Steering Committee.
    • The relevant experience, expertise, and perspective they would bring to the ESC role for which they were nominated.

How to Vote:

Voting for the BioMaP-Consortium Executive Steering Committee will be conducted by electronic ballot using the form below. Only one ballot per BioMaP-Consortium member organization will be counted. If more than one ballot is submitted on behalf of an organization, only the first ballot received will be counted.

The Consortium Management Firm, ATI, will tabulate the ballots immediately following the close of the voting period.

  • The candidate receiving the highest number of votes for the Voice of Membership seat will be elected.
  • The two candidates receiving the highest number of votes for the Regulatory, Quality, and Policy seats will be elected.

The voting period runs from August 6 through August 31, 2026. A list of the nominees for each role is provided below. A PDF containing each nominee’s candidate statement is also available for review and comparison.

Ballot Selections

For the Voice of Membership role, the ballot will include one single-selection question. Members should select their preferred candidate.

For the Regulatory, Quality, and Policy role, the ballot will include two single-selection questions. Members should select two different candidates. The same candidate may not be selected for both seats.

Submitting your Ballot

Please allow enough time to review the candidate information before making your selections. To submit your ballot, complete all required sections and select Submit Form at the end of the page. A submission confirmation will be sent to the email address entered on the form.
